Contractor shall provide all labor, insurance, equipment, and supervision for transportation services to carry up to twelve (12) passengers and up to 1000 pounds of cargo from U.S. Coast Guard Station Ketchikan to Loran Station Shoal Cove, Alaska and return three times weekly. The schedule is for pickup Mondays and Fridays at 0900 and pickup on Tuesdays at 1300. Travel time is approximately 1 hour each way, loading/unloading time approximately one hour at Shoal Cove. Coast Guard personnel will load and unload cargo. The base period will be October 1, 2000 to September 30, 2001, with 4 option periods. If all options are exercised the contract will end 30 September 2005. The Solicitation will be issued on or around 10 April 2000 with offers due 30 days later.
