This re-advertisement covers its successor. If you have previously
submitted an offer, the new SFO will be sent directly to you, upon
completion, and you need not respond to this notice. The National Park
Service is interested in leasing approximately 62,900 contiguous
rentable square feet of fully serviced museum storage (54%), office
(22%), laboratory (4%)and special purpose and support space (20%) in
Tucson, Arizona, for a term of up to 20 years, with no less than 10
years firm. Rentable space must yield approximately 54,700 BOMA net
useable square feet (on no more than two floors, one of which must be
a ground floor) and be available for use by tenant for museum storage,
personnel, equipment and furnishings. A covered loading dock and ramp
are required. Parking for 6 visitors and 46 staff must be provided on
site. Space is required in the following area of consideration:
Tucson, Arizona, within an area delineated by North Tucson Boulevard on
the east side, then following East Broadway Boulevard west to the
intersection of North Plumer Avenue and South Plumer Avenue, south on
South Plumer Avenue to East 13th Street, west along East 13th Street
(and in in a straight line between ends where 13th Street is
discontinuous over the railroad) to South Stone Avenue,south on South
Stone Avenue, to Simpson Street, west on Simpson Street (and in a
straight line between ends where Simpson Street is discontinuous
because of I-10) to Mission Lane, west on Mission Lane to South Grande
Avenue, north on Grand Avenue(which then changes into North Grande
Avenue) to West Speedway Boulevard, east on West Speedway Boulevard to
I-10, north on I-10 to the Grant Road interchange, east on Grant Road
to Fairview Avenue, north on Fairview Avenue to West Jacinto Street,
east on West Jacinto Street (which changes into East Jacinto Street) to
North First Street, south on North First Street, to Copper Street, and
east on Copper Street to North Tucson Boulevard. The property must be
located outside the 500 year flood plain. Because of additional flood
plain areas, offerors are advised to consult panels 1638K, 1639K,
1643K, 2226K, 2227K, 2228K, 2229K, and 2231K of the FEMA Flood
Insurance Rate Map for Pima County, Arizona, and incorporated areas.
All space must be of high quality, capable of meeting all NFPA fire
safety and UFAS accessibility standards. Expressions of interest must
be submitted in writing and should include the following: name and
address of offeror and offered building or site; evidence that said
person is authorized to represent the owner; rentable square feet;
method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet; common
area factor for available space and a floor plan. If the building is to
be built; a rendering and floor plan should be provided. Interested
