THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. Remove existing crane rails for the intake gantry crane and furnish and install new crane rails. Two crane rails, each rail approximately 1375 feet long with gage of 34 feet. Rails are straight, no curves or switches. New rails are 175 pounds per yard conforming to ASTM A 759. Rails will be continuous with welded joints. After existing rails are removed new rails are to be installed in the existing concrete troughs. Rails will set on steel base plates. Impact pads will be located between base plates and rail base. Base plates are anchor bolted to the concrete structure and rails are attached to base plates with rail clips. Approximately 20 cubic feet of nonshrink grout will be placed in the cavity under the base plates. Approximately 50 cubic yards of steel fiber reinforced concrete for flangeways will be required. Concrete core drilling required for new 2-3/8 inch drain holes. Approximately 60 new drain holes required about 3 to 4 feet in length. The estimated cost range for this job is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The standard industrial classification code (SIC) is 1629. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous three fiscal years must not exceed $17,000,000.
