The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-00-G-0116 with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company for effort associated with TAV-8B Night Attack Improvements. The effort involves incorporating night lighting changes into the forward and aft cockpits, as well as exterior lighting on the aircraft. In addition, MDC will replace the wing/pylon interface connectors and relocate the fuel quantity gauging wires.
