Ranges and Facilities Department, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft
Division, Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for a Pulsed Ultra
High Frequency Source (PUHFS) to be used for simulating the
electromagnetic environment in the C-Band radio frequency range during
intersystem electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing of full-scale
aircraft. The requirement also necessitates options as follows: An
option for a Transportable Transmitter Enclosure (TTE) which would
serve as the permanent location for the transmitter and would serve as
the insulation from where the transmitter would operate; and an option
for a Dummy Load Device that, when connected to the output of the
PUHFS, would allow full power operation of the PUHFS, accepting all
output energy. Award is anticipated on or before 30 September 2000 with
a delivery date of 01 April 2002. This requirement is being procured
under full and open competition, and the appropriate SIC code is 3825
(size standard of 500 employees). To be eligible to receive an award
for this requirement, the contractor must be registered in the DoD
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. To

solicitation via the Internet on or about 10 April 2000. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by
