The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, Atlantic Ranges and Facilities Dept., has a requirement for a Wide Pulse Microwave Source (WPMS) to be used for simulating an electromagnetic environment. The requirement also necessitates options as follows: An optional Transportable Source Enclosure (TSE) which shall be the permanent location for the WPMS and serve as the installation from where the WPMS will operate; an option for a Dummy Load Device that, would permit the WPMS to transmit at full power without radiating; an option for a 10 to 18GHz Extension, which will amplify up to 10 GHz usually extending to 18 GHz. Award is anticipated on or before 30 September 2000 with a delivery date of 01 April 2002. This requirement is being procured under full and open competition, and the appropriate SIC code is 3825 (standard size of 500 employees). To be eligible to receive an award for this requirement, the contractor must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS.
