The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Office of Space Science is releasing a NASA Research Announcement (NRA 00-OSS-04) entitled The CHANDRA X-ray Observatory (CXO) General Observer Program, Cycle 2. This NRA solicits basic research proposals for participation in the NASA program for the conduct of space science investigations and subsequent analysis of the scientific data from the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Participation is open to all categories of organizations, both domestic and foreign, including educational institutions, profit and nonprofit organizations, NASA centers, and other Government agencies.
