Estimated price range of the work is between $100,000. and $250,000 -- Copies of solicitation are provided only in CD-ROM format and one copy will be provided free of charge with each request. There is a non-refundable charge of $15.00 for each additional CD-ROM requested. The principal components of the work to be performed under these specifications include the following: The Contractor shall demolish and remove from government property, the building and all its contents, its foundation, and existing pavement. The components of the work to be performed under this contract include the removal and disposal of all gypsum board walls and ceiling, floor tile, pipe insulation, and all other asbestos-containing materials from the interior of the building. The Contractor shall install a drain system connecting to existing drain lines. There is approximately 35 feet of pipe insulation, approximately 4400 square feet of sheet rock wall board, and approximately 1550 square feet of floor tile containing asbestos. All painted surfaces are coated with lead-based paint. Once the building and foundation are removed, the drain system shall be installed and leak tested. The area shall then be backfilled and compacted with approved subbase material. The subbase shall be covered and compacted with six inches of crushed rock base material and then covered with 3 inches of State of Washington, Department of Transportation, Class B hot mix asphalt road pavement.
