Project B: The work includes the repairs to drydock outer caisson seat, replacement of corroded steel angle corner guard/seat plates, repairs to concrete spalls, and incidental related work. The Base Item work includes the repair work from dock marker 497 up to and including the head quay wall under Project A and Project B. Option 0001 work includes the repair work from the entrance of the drydock to and including dock marker 497 under Project A. Option 0001 to be exercised within 180 calendar days of Base Item award. Completion time is 290 calendar days for the Base Item and an additional 155 calendar days if Option 0001 is exercised. This is a source selection procurement requiring both technical and price proposals. Contract award will be made to the offeror proposing the best value to the Government from a technical and price (Base Item and Option 0001) standpoint. Price (Base Item and Option 0001) is considered approximately equal to the technical evaluation factors.
