The National Park Service, Columbia Cascades Support Office, is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation of a water system at Munson Valley, Crater Lake National Park, Oregon. The contractor shall furnish all the labor, materials and equipment for the general construction of potable water mains, fire hydrants, valve boxes, and connections to existing water mains and distribution lines in the Munson Valley Headquarters area. Also included in the construction are the revisions to the seal reservoir and concrete valve chamber in the Headquarters area. Plugging and abandoning of existing lines is also included. A site visit will be conducted on April 11, 2000, at 1:00 P.M., local time pending weather conditions. It is strongly recommended that all prospective bidders attend. The meeting will be conducted promptly at the Headquarters Area, Munson Valley, followed by a walk through of the project site.
