DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented, with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation. Quotes are being requested and written quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for small business and applicable Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1731. This is a replace/repair requirement. (2 ea.) Shorted drive motors, (32 ea.) Timing relays (solid state), (32 ea.) alarm relays, (18 ea.) Motor to gearbox coupling safety covers, (64 ea.) Push buttons, (16 ea.) Electrical disconnect panels to include reversing contractors, controls transformers, auxiliary contacts, bells and enclosures, Repair all safety edge and tubing, (20 ea.) Replace all missing screws in electric bus bars and enclosures, Lubricate all chains, gears and bearings, Align all motor to gear box couplings, Adjust all drive chains, Add/replace all necessary wiring, Make all necessary electrical connections and test for proper operation. Upon completion of work, contractor must demonstrate that all doors are functioning properly and that door movement is delayed 5 to 10 seconds after pressing button. Changes and/or modifications must have prior approval by the POC. NO OZONE DEPLETING MATERIAL SHALL BE USED. There are several provisions and clauses that apply to this acquisition.
