The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District is conducting a market survey to identify sources and increase competition acquisition opportunities for installing automation mechanization equipment, DSCR, VA with small business contractors. The project consists of installing mechanical equipment ranging is style from conveyor belts, hydrostatic test stations with pits to constructing and installing paint spray booths, sound booths and reaching machines and providing the necessary support to operate these machines. The equipment to be installed is both new and existing utilizing LPG as the energy source. There is some minor construction involved along with the installation of HVAC, plumbing and electrical utility support. The dollar range of this project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and to be considered, a firm must be considered a small business under SIC Code 3599.
