This item will be acquired on a sole source basis utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. This is an aircraft part that is available only from the original manufacturer/source. Award to any other source would pose safety of flight issues. Authority: 10 USC 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Solicitation will be oral. The proposed award action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.320-1.
