Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-00-Q0188) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. The SIC for this solicitation is 7519. This is being solicited unrestricted. The item description is as follows: Non-Personnel Service to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials (to include skirting), supervision, and other items necessary to deliver, set up, maintain, and remove six (6) portable office trailers. Offeror shall quote on the following items: CLIN 0001: one 60_ x 60_fiveplex modular office unit. This unit shall contain two single occupancy restrooms, four private offices, and shoring to support five 1000-pound safes. Contractor shall also furnish and connect 300-gallon waste holding tank to restrooms. Contractor shall service holding tank as often as necessary, to ensure appropriate standards of sanitation. CLIN 0002: two 36_ x 60_ triple-wide modular office units with two private offices in each. One unit shall contain shoring to support three (3) 1000-pound safes. CLIN 0003: two (2) 12_ x 60_ single-wide modular office units, open in middle, with 12' x 12' offices on each end. One unit shall contain shoring to support three 1000-pound safes. CLIN 0004: one 24_ x 60_ doublewide modular office unit with two private offices. Units shall have air conditioning and heating units and operate off of a 110V electricity. Air conditioners will have a three (3) ton minimum capacity with 10kW auxiliary heat strip and a 125 amp single phase power panel with 120/208 volt plug in circuits. Modular units shall to be delivered and set up in the rear of building214, Nellis AFB and be ready for occupancy by 15 April 2000. Rental period will be for six (6) months with three (3) one-month options. A site visit will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific), 24 Mar 00. Price quotes may be sent by facsimile at (702) 652-5405. Modular units shall be in good condition (as determined by the Government) and meet all applicable construction and safety codes. Interior private offices shall be 12' x 12.' Exterior finishes for all modular office units shall be T-111, including skirting, be a neutral desert sand color, and have a composition shingled roof. Flooring for all units shall be vinyl composition tile. Contractor shall also provide steps with each exterior door. The Government will be responsible for site preparation and utility hook-up. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the Government, price and past performance considered.
