grading, drainage, base and hot asphalt concrete pavement on 3.539
kilometers for CA PFH 184-1(1), Bear River Road, Amador County,
California. Estimated price range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Princple
items of work are: drainage structure survey and staking; contractor
testing; 8ha clearing & grubbing; 35,000 cubic meters roadway
excavation; 4,000 sq meters roadway obliteration; 13,000 metric tons
aggregate base; 6,350 metric tons hot asphalt concrete pavment; 411
metric tons asphalt cement; 520 meters pipe culvert; 35 each pipe
culvert end sections; 13 each inlet; 1,660 meters portland cement
concrete curb; 660 meters guardrail. 2. PLANS AND SPECS WILL BE

(DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU),
has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business
enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding
assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to
any eligible prime or subcontractor at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and
payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80%
guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also
available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest ratesto provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
