Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision
required to perform all work necessary to: 1.1 Disconnect and remove
the (3) existing shore ties, their associated wire (approx. 600 feet)
and exposed conduit (approx. 50 feet) up to panel "B" in electrical
room as shown on sheet E-01. 1.2 Replace the existing 100A-2P main
breaker and its associated wires (from panel "B" to existing wireways
approx. 15 feet) with a new 200A-2P breaker and 3-3/0 feeder wires.
Provide (2) 100A-1P and (1) 20A, 1P breakers in the available spaces of
existing panel "B" as shown on sheet E-02. 1.3 Provide a new 100A, 125
volts shore tie and a GFCI receptacle (in weatherproof box) on
stanchion at two locations as shown on drawing #6373-D sheet E-01. Run
new circuit wires (4 #1, #6 ground and 2 #10, #10 ground) from panel
"B" in 2" conduit to shore ties and GFCI receptacles as shown on sheets
E-01 & E-02. SHORE TIES SHALL BE RUSSELLSTOLL CAT. #DBRS1107100 AND
PLUG SHALL BE RUSSELLSTOLL CAT. #DS1104MP TOMATCH EXISTING SHORE TIES.
1.4 Connect and test the shore ties. The Standard Industrial
Classification (SIC) code assigned to this project is 1629. Estimated
range of the project is less than $25,000; therefore pursuant to FAR
52.219-20, Notice of Emerging Small Business Set-Aside (JAN 1991),
offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from Emerging
Small Business concerns only. Offers that are not from an Emerging
Small Business shall not be considered and shall be rejected. Emerging
Small Business as used in this solicitation, means a Small Business
concern whose size is no greater than 50 percent of the numerical size
standard applicable to the SIC code assigned to a contracting
opportunity. The numerical size standard applicable for SIC code 1731
is $7.0 million. Therefore, the offeror's average annual gross revenues
for the last 3 fiscal years can not exceed $3.5 million in order to be
considered. Performance Period is 75 calendar days after Notice to
Proceed. A due date for quotes has notbeen scheduled. All relevant
solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings shall be
available for download exclusively from the Internet in approximately
one week by accessing the U. S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit
