This proposed contract effort consists of building a software
operational flight program (OFP) for the ALR-56M Radar Warning Receiver
on the F-16 aircraft and associated work. This OFP will consist of
revising an existing OFP for which total documentation has not been
delivered. The baseline OFP encountered problems in testing which must
be resolved. The resultant OFP must be written in Ada, and fully
documented including those portions of the OFP which are not modified.
The fully integrated and contractor tested version must be available
for aircraft systems integration not later than 17 July 2000. This is
necessary to meet test windows, and to insure that a flight tested and
documented version is available to meet aircraft retrofit schedules.
The offeror must also provide any required modifications to the mission
data tool support software known as the Expert Editor or EXED. Support
of testing at the F-16 manufacturing facility in Fort Worth TX and US
test ranges is required. Total period of performance is expected to be
from April 2000 until May 2001. J&A Authority 10 U.S.C. Posted 03/20/00
