The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is requesting sources and information on existing services that may meet or exceed FDIC's need for a Data Standardization Vendor. Firms must be capable of providing data standardization services for any incoming data, regardless of sources, content or media. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The purpose of this notice is to develop a list of qualified firms who can provide this service. The primary service shall include, but is not limited to, the standardization of incoming data from asset servicing vendors and internal sources to update FDIC's financial asset inventory management system. The National Asset Inventory System (NAIS) is the backbone component of the FDIC Consolidated Asset Systems Modernization Project (CAMP). NAIS is a repository of asset information regarding all active FDIC loans, owned real estate, securities and other financial assets currently being managed by asset servicers and other entities external and internal to the FDIC. NAIS also retains asset information regarding assets that have been sold or otherwise disposed of by the FDIC. The data for these assets may also, from time to time, require corrections or updates. The NAIS/CAMP database contains approximately 300 data fields and tables and has preset update layouts that have been identified as requirements for servicing this system.
