The 355th Contracting Squadron/LGCBA is conducting market research to seek qualified sources capable of providing maintenance and operation of an 80 ton diesel electric locomotive over 13 miles of military track. Work includes the switching in and out of 300/400 cars annually loaded with general and hazardous cargo. Locomotive engineers must be qualified and licensed in accordance with the Federal Railroad Administration to operate the engine. Daily inspections and maintenance on engine are required. All sources capable of providing these services are being sought. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. Any information submitted is voluntary.
