The government estimate of dredge material to be removed is 12,000 cubic yards. Dredge spoils shall be transported by hydraulic pipeline to an inland pond across the Tiger Pass waterway and distributed to develop wetlands for emergent flora. This work is located at U. S. Coast Guard Station Venice, Louisiana. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The package for this project is expected to be ready for solicitation by 4/15/00. The estimated bid opening is 8/15/00. Plans will be available for inspection at 15608 SW 117th Avenue, Miami, Florida, after they have been issued.
