The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437-5226 is soliciting offerors to replace the hot water boiler and auxiliary items at Bldg. 21200, Command Destruct Facility. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. There is one (1) solicitation number associated with this requirement. This is a 100% set-aside for small business participation only. The solicitation number is F04684-00-T-0517. The NAICS is 235110 and the SIC is 1711. The Size Std. is $7,000,000.00. There is one Line Item as follows: Services, Non-Personal: Contractor to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, transportation, and supervision necessary to Replace the Hot Water Boiler and Auxiliary Items at Bldg. 21200, Command Destruct Facility. Remove existingAjax Hot Water Boiler, gas piping, vent stack, and remove from the site. Install "Reimers" Model HLR-60 Electric Hot Water Boiler with staged heating. Furnish and install KA- 36200 3-pole circuit breaker in the existing distribution center spare location. Install three (3) each #2-0 THHN and one (1) each #10 THHN copper conductor from existing breaker panel through existing wireway, through 1.5" EMT to new boiler. Connect inlet and outlet circulating water piping to existing copper piping. Furnish and install water meter on the existing make-up water piping Perform operational check of boiler and system to ensure full operational capability and to ensure proper temperature and humidity requirements are met. Clean the work site and remove all old material, equipment, and waste. All work to be completed NO LATER THAN 31 MAY, 2000.
