LINK-11 EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURED BY GENERAL ALTRONICS CORPORATION. The SPAWAR System Center Charleston intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole-source contract to General Atronics, Corporation in the estimated amount of $5,000,000 for parts & spares in support of the Link-11 system. This solicitation is for commercial items and will be prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The contract will be for a base year and 2 one-year options, and will result in an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. The software to operate the Link-11 system operates in one (1) VME chassis. Only parts manufactured GAC will satisfy the Government needs to ensure compatibility with the existing equipment.
