The U.S. Army CECOM under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 [c][1], in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 [a] [1] proposes to acquire through negotiations with Northrop Grumman, AN/VIC-3 Installation Kits and Major Assemblies to integrate additional Vehicular Intercommunication System (VIS) into various platforms vehicles and provide sustainment support for the fielded systems over the next five years. The AN/VIC -3 provides the commander and crewmembers of the Army's fleet of combat and combat service support vehicles a high reliability, noise free digital intercom and radio access communication system. The AN/VIC-3 is a customized configuration design to unique requirements of individual programs. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. This is a restricted procurement to Northrop Grumman. The solicitation DAAB07-00-R-D115 will be posted to the ABOP on or about 04/28/00.
