is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This constitutes the
only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written
solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this
acquisition is NMA201-00-RFQ01. Method of payment will be by the IMPAC
Government credit card. This acquisition is issued as a request for
quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15.
The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 3663
with a small business standard of 750 employees. This solicitation is
a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The following is a list of

DESCRIPTION: Shipping and Handling The National Imagery and Mapping
Agency (NIMA) intends to procure three(3) Plasma Monitors to display
various high technology items available from NIMA. The minimum
specifications and functions for the Plasma monitor are: XGA Plasma
Display; Screen size maximum -- 50" diagonal; Aspect Ratio -- 16:9 and
4:3; Pixels -- 1280 Horizontal/768 Vertical; Colors -- 16.8 Million
(24 bit); View Angle -- 160 (Horizontal) 160 (Vertical); maximum size
48(W) X 29(H) X 4(D) inches; Weight -- less than or equal to 90 lbs;
Power -- 470W (120V 50/60Hz); Inputs -- NTSC Composite, RGB, XGA; High
Definition -- 720p or 1080I; Safety Standard -- UL/FCC Class A;
Displayable TV Color System -- NTSC/PAL/SECAM; Maximum Vertical
Frequency -- 85Hz SXGA (1280 X 1024 resolution); UXGA (1600 X 1200
resolution for 4:3 only); Precise adjustment in integrator mode for
color temperature; Remote controller; On screen menu; Input 1 --
Composite Video (BNC); Input 2 -- Y/C (BNC) & S-Video (DIN)Input 3 --

display orientation (Up/Down and Left/Right Reverse mode); Power
management function; An OSD (On-Screen Display) ON/OFF function. The
minimum specifications and functions for the display cart are: Mobile
floor cart with lockable wheels for Plasma Display Screens; Must be
able to hold a 50 inch plasma display screen; Top of plasma display at
maximum height adjustment must be at least 72" and must be height
adjustable; Pitch adjustment: 5 degrees up, 15 degrees down; Four 4"
swivel casters, two with total lock brakes; Two 2" diameter chrome
posts; Shelf (maximum 18" deep x 22" wide) which attaches to both posts
and is height adjustable; Screen can be installed in a horizontal or
vertical position; Alignment hooks support screen in position while
mounting hardware is secured; PDB Mounting Bracket to attach the screen
to the cart; Must allow 2 degree roll adjustment right and left for
screen leveling. The minimum specifications and functions for the
shipping case are: Must securely hold one 50 inch plasma display
monitor; Hard-body construction with sufficient internal padding to
protect monitor from damage during shipping; Case must have rolling
casters on bottom. All items must be delivered to National Imagery and

required. The provision at 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference
is incorporated into this acquisition. This contract incorporates one
or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they
were given in full text. Upon request, the Contracting Officer will

delivery schedule and lowest cost-technically acceptable of the items.
Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3,
Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with
their offer. Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial
Items and Clause 52.212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to
