A/E must have sufficient background in NFPA 101 safety and JCAHO hospital operations to apply valid design options to known cited deficiencies. A/E must have sufficient background in the design of Dental Operatories to provide valid options for consideration. Background in hospital design, and in the renovation of existing buildings is required. Estimated construction cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. Capable A/E firms are required to submit their SF 254/255's within 30 calendar days from the date of this publication. Selection location is limited to a 50-mile radius of Salt Lake City, Utah. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. Criteria to be evaluated by evaluation board: 1) professional qualifications and experience of the firm with design of NFPA 101 Safety, JCAHO Hospital operations, design of dental operatories, hospital design and renovation of buildings; 2) experience and professional qualifications of the firm's staff to be assigned to the project; 3) overall performace record of the firm and analysis of the firms current workload.
