contracting for the survey of eight (8) areas with mist nets to
determine presence of bat species, including the federally endangered
Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis). The work will be on the Cheat/Potomac,
Greenbrier, Marlinton/White Sulphur, and Gauley Ranger Districts in
Grant, Greenbrier, Nicholas, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph, Tucker,
and Webster Counties, West Virginia. There are several bid items with
a possibility of more than one award being made. Only a portion of the
items require the work to begin May 15, 2000. There will be a pre-bid
conference date and time established in the solicitation package. This
project is advertised as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All
responsible quoters may receive a Request for Quotations by submitting
