The SPAWAR System Center Charleston intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole-source contract to General Atronics, Corporation in the estimated amount of $5,000,000 for services in support of the Link-11 system. This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 for commercial items. The contract will be for a base year and 2 one-year options, and will result in an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. The software to operate the Link-11 system operates in one (1) VME chassis. General Atronics has proprietary rights to the hardware, and the unique knowledge and skills to provide the services necessary to repair and maintain the equipment.
