The US Army Europe (USAREUR) seeks a contractor to plan, organize, staff, and conduct summer-day camps at various Government-furnished locations in Germany, Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands for youths in age groups 6-10, 11-13 and 14 & up. The Summer Camp shall contribute to the well being of youths by providing opportunities for organized and self-directed social, cultural and education development. The summer camp shall provide youths an opportunity to receive high quality leisure, recreation and life skills instruction that contributes to the positive development of youth, the enhancement of the family unit and provide an avenue for FUN. The contractor shall also incorporate programs in summer camp for youth to keep in touch with parents that are downrange in Bosnia and temporarily away from the family unit. All Contractor personnel working on this project shall be fluent in written and spoken English. The Government anticipates issuing a commercial item solicitation pursuant to US Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12 on or about April 4, 2000.
