NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for work associated with "Fuel Injector/Mixer Development for Future Low Emission Combustors". The provisions and clauses in the RFP are those in effect through FAC 97-15. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The SIC Code and Size Standard are 3724 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-A7. The anticipated release date of RFP3-140928 is on or about March 22, 2000 with an anticipated proposal due date of on or about April 24, 2000. All qualified responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See Internet Note "B". No option is included in this RFP.
