This solicitation identifies the requirements for commercial depot level overhaul of the LM2500 single shank gas generator engines, NSN: 2S 2835-01-237-1153. These overhauls will consist of a complete teardown, inspection and repair of the gas turbine and its accessories. All repairs, upgrades, and replacement parts used shall be in accordance with US Navy requirements. Interested parties should have experience in overhauling the LM2500 gas turbine engines, and have an active overhaul line. The Navy expects to award a multi-year contract on a "best value" basis for the complete overhaul of not less than three (3) LM2500 single shank gas generators per year.
