The Purchase and Contract office at Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) Memphis is seeking potential sources with the ability to provide physiotherapeutic hypo-hyperthermia units. The unit must have forced air patient cooling and heating capability and be capable of use with pads/or blankets. Unit must be capable of being bedrail-mounted or stand supported. The unit must use thermoelectric technology. Liquids or chloroflourocarbons (CFC) refrigerants are not acceptable. The dimensions of the cabinet shall not exceed 18" deep x 18" wide x 36" high.. The unit's fan shall be hermetically sealed and the entire unit must be resistant to water and solvent cleanable. Interested parties shall include (1) parts list, schematics, specifications, power requirements and product literature (2) any and all 510K and OSHA support documents (3) a brief description of corporate capability, including past performance with similar work (4) company name, address, point of contact, phone number (5) business size and status.
