The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has a requirement for a Variable Pressure Scanning Electron Microscope System to be used for general electron microscopy on advanced materials, some of which, will require observation at pressures exceeding 4 nM, cathodoluminescence imaging and spectroscopy of wide band gap materials, rapid sample exchange for sample requiring cooling to 100K, and large sample chamber for implementation of custom optics and nano-manipulator. The system must have a nitrogen cooling stage and airlock system; an interface for adaptation of external scan system; a multi-function control panel with joystick and rotary controls, and include installation, a one year warranty and training. The solicitation will close 30 days after the issuance date. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue RFPs and amendments to RFPs.
