Palaia The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate with Everest VIT, Inc. of Flanders, NJ to procure 7 each Video Probes P/N XL620A, 7 each Direct View Tips P/N XT690FF, 7 each Side View Tips P/N XT6100SG, 50 each F404/F414 Borescope Adapter Sets P/N USN1040, associated manuals, and training. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), this firm is considered the only supplier of these items. The Video Probe includes the following: Spare lamp (P/N XA101), Operating manual (P/N XA102), Sun visor (P/N XA110), Neck strap (P/N XA111), Light source (P/N XL240LSA), Detachable lens optics (P/N XT650FG), Detachable headguard (P/N XT650FF), Composite video cable (P/N VA177), S-Video Cable (P/N VA285), and carrying case. The Borescope Adapter Set includes the following: Flexible guide tube (P/N 856A1310P02), Access port coupler (P/N A50020S500), Access port coupler (P/N A50020C062), Access port coupler (P/N A112512S500), Tube Griper forXL620 (P/N XA125), Rigidizer (P/N GTR-603S), Magic arm for XL620 (P/N XA119S), and case. The proposed video borescope and its adapter set are required to hold the video probe in a fixed position during engine inspections and to help navigate through the engine interior. A successful completion of EMI testing is required to approve this item for use on aircraft carrier flight decks. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center, Lakehurst, NJ. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
