This serves as a Notice of Intent to issue a purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures to ACCdotCom, 3390 Urbana Pike, Urbana, Maryland on a Sole Source Basis for the renewal of 73 ACC software maintenance subscriptions for ACP 3020 Configuration. This is considered a commercial item as defined in FAR Part 2.101 and is being procured under FAR Part 12. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of the unique features and the proprietary nature of the software it supports. The period of performance is for one year from date of award. No formal request for quotation will be issued for this procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. An Acquisition Ombudsman, Colonel Steven H. Sheldon, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development.
