TREE THINNING and WHITE PINE PRUNING The US Forest Service, Colville National Forest seeks quotes for tree thinning and white pine pruning services on Newport and Sullivan Lake Ranger Districts for work over the next two years (performance to winter, 2001). Location of the work is in the Pend Oreille Valley, located in the NE portion of Washington. The resultant contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract with a 102 acre thinning contract guarantee with additional identified possible work of 323 acres of thinning, 165 acres of thinning and white pine pruning, and 128 acres of white pine pruning only. Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act registration and a Washington State Farm/Forest Labor License or equivalent is required.
