The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate a modification to contract number 0600-99-36612 on a sole-source basis with Halifax Technical Services, Inc., to include the maintenance and repair of the Andover Building Management Control System and Simplex Fire Alarm Control System. Halifax Technical Services of Alexandria, VA, is the incumbent contractor providing Consolidated Facilities Management Services at the Mid-Atlantic Program Service Center in Philadelphia, PA. The Contractor is currently responsible for the operation of this equipment as well as the operations and maintenance of all the mechanical equipment and related systems at this facility. The Andover Building Management Controls System and Simplex Fire Alarm Control Systems operates the heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including the electrical system, through the use of peripheral computer equipment and associated software at this site.
