Harry.A.Simmons@usace.army.mil. The Nashville District is soliciting
for proposals for inspection and repair of Petroleum storage tank
electronic systems, Ft. Campbell, KY. The contractor shall furnish all
labor, equipment and materials to inspect and repair government owned
electronic monitoring systems on petroleum storage tanks at Ft.
Campbell, KY. The requirements are that, the contractor shall conduct
quarterly inspections of 29 electronic monitoring systems monitoring 56
individual tanks. Quarterly Inspections shall include, but are not
limited to, a diagnostic test of the console, physical removal and
inspection of all probes and sensors and a review of the alarm history
for each system. The systems to be inspected consist of 15 each
Gilbarco EMCs, 7 each Veeder-Root TLS-350, 2 each Veeder-Root TLS-300C
and 5 each Veeder-Root TLS-300. A more complete table of systems is
available with solicitation. The Quarterly Inspection Report shall be
submitted to the Government within 15 days of completion of the
inspection. An InspectionChecklist has been developed and will be
available. The Contractor shall be prepared to respond to Emergency
Call-outs, estimate to be 24 call-outs per year. The contractor shall
submit with this proposal his proposed costs for parts (based on a
Parts List available with solicitation) and his proposed hourly wage
rates for repairs. All work shall be conducted in accordance with
current industry practices and satisfy requirements outlined in the
American Petroleum Institute (API), 40 CFR 280 and the National Fire
Protection Association (NFPA). Duration of the work will be one base
year with two one year options with total duration of contract not to
exceed three years. Proposal documents will be available o/a 5 April
2000. Proposal documents to be received until close of business o/a 4
May 2000. Requests for Proposal will be issued using the Simplified
Acquisition Procedures. The work is set aside for award to a small
business concern. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7629, the
average annual receipts for preceding three years not to exceed $5.0
million. Responsible sources requesting proposal documents may submit
