The Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7, contemplates award of a single Superfund Technical Assessment and Removal Team contract to provide professional and technical support services to Region 7 (encompassing the four state area: Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska) for cleanups of oil, petroleum and hazardous substances. The contract will be awarded pursuant to the authorities outlined in Section 311 of the Clean Water as amended by the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, Section 104 of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) of 9186 and Subtitle 1 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) as amended by SARA pursuant to the National Contingency Plan. The successful contractor shall provide professional engineering, technical and scientific personnel, equipment, materials and other resources as necessary to support Region 7 in its response, investigation, removal and preparedness programs. This will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract with an estimated value of $30,000,000.00. The contract performance period will be a base year with four one year option periods.
