J -- MAINTENANC, REPAIR AND REBUILDING OF EQUIPMENT!! The U.S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC proposes to extend Contract DTCG38-98-D-200006 for five (5) years. This contract is for management, maintenance and repair services for Rockwell Collins avionics line replaceable units (LRU's) utilized on the HH65A helicopter, the HU25A aircraft and the C130 aircraft. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is Rockwell Collins. The contract services include management, repair or overhaul, shipping, storing and accounting for specific USCG avionics LRUs/test equipment. Contractor is required to maintain an inventory of repair and piece parts to meet specified response times and manage the Coast Guard inventory and configuration of specified components/test equipment. Specific minimum quantities of LRUs are located at each Air Station commensurate with the number of aircraft at each Air Station. The contract is a firm-fixed-price "Power by the Hour" contract. Rockwell Collins is the sole design authority and holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data rights. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate a five-year extension to the existing contract. Manufacturer's specifications are not available and a solicitation will not be issued.
