S -- FIRE HOSE MAINTENANCE, REDMOND AIR CENTER SOL 7-2000-R11 DUE 050100 POC Jeanette Young, 541/416-6533 or Cecilia Rogers, 541/416-6534 or fax 541/416-6661 The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for the testing, washing, drying, and rolling of U.S. Forest Service fire hose on the Contractor's premises for the 2000 fire season, approximately June 15, 2000 through December 31, 2000. Hose to be serviced includes lined (CJRL) and unlined with cotton, linen, or synthetic jackets. Hose to be serviced will be rolled on pallets sorted by hose type and size. The Contractor shall have the minimum capacity to completely process 1000 lengths of hose (50 foot and/or 100 foot) in any five consecutive day period, which includes Saturdays and Sundays. Pick up and delivery of fire hose by the Contractor shall be Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 3:00 pm. Estimated start work date is June 15, 2000. This is an Indefinite Quantity Contract. Award will be made for the minimum amounts. Task Orders may be issued for additional work through November 24, 2000. This project is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
