Quantity: 1 each. ITEM 2: 10 MHZ, 64 ELEMENT ARRAY ULTRASONIC TRANSDUCER, PART NUMBER: 10l64E32-5, QUANTITY: 1 EACH. ITEM 3: ULTRASONIC HAND SCANNER FOR FLAT AREA, PART NUMBER: HSF-XY01, QUANTITY: 1 EACH. ITEM 4: ULTRASONIC SHOE PLUS WATER CIRCULATION AND PIPES, QUANTITY: 1 EACH. ITEM 5: TOMOVIEW DATA NALYSIS PACKAGE, PART NUMBER TV-MNT, QUANTITY: 1 EACH. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from R/D Tech, 240 Bear Hill Road, Waltham, MA 02154. This recommendation is made pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point ofcontact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on March 15, 2000. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
