issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) with a due date of March 30,
2000. This is a sole source combined synopsis/ solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The
Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San
Diego, CA, intends to solicit and negotiate a sole-source procurement
with Astron Antenna Co. of Sterling, Virginia, on the basis of only one
responsible source for the parts required. DESCRIPTION: Contract Line
Items Number: CLIN 0001: Forty-eight (48) Astron Transmit Antennas with
M3 mounts, part number FAH-305T-1(H).CLIN 0002: Six (6) Astron Receive
Antennas with M3 mounts, part number FAH-255R-1(H).DELIVERY SCHEDULE:

Standard Commercial Warranty (Oct 1995): The contractor shall extend to
the Government the full coverage of any standard commercial warranty
normally offered in a similar commercial sale, provided such warranty
is available at no additional cost to the Government. Acceptance of the
standard commercial warranty does not waive the Government's rights
under the "Inspection/ Acceptance" paragraph of clause 52.212-4,
Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, nor does it limit the
Government's rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of
this contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of
the contract shall take precedence over the standard commercial
warranty. The standard commercial warranty period shall begin upon
final acceptance of the applicable material and/ or services listed in
the Schedule. The contractor shall provide a copy of its standard
commercial warranty (if applicable) with its offer. The warranty covers
