E-MAIL: click here to contact the contracting officer via, bodnerd@spawar.navy.mil. The Naval Simulation Systems (NSS) portion of SPAWAR solicitation N00039-99-R-2245 will soon be amended. The amendment will add an independent verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) effort to the scope. Also, the type of contract will change to an IDIQ, with the presumption of multiple awards. The possibility of combined award with any other section of the RFP is being removed; therefore, NSS will be a stand-alone contract. Because of these changes, any potential small-business sources who have not already responded to the above solicitation may do so once amendment 0004 is posted to the SPAWAR web page. In the meantime, potential sources should study the NSS portions of N00039-99-R-2245. Current offerors will also be given an opportunity to update their proposals. Posted 03/23/00 (W-SN437497).
