The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport intends to solicit proposals for the Acoustic Augmentation Support Program (AASP). Technical support requires system engineering and field engineering efforts including system improvement, installation and removal, operational and logistic services for existing and future acoustic augmentation, security and evaluation systems. The requirement includes the evaluation of acoustic augmentation systems using new technology and/or new methods. An ID/IQ type contract with CPFF provisions is anticipated. Period of performance will be five (5) years. Total estimated Level of Effort is 141,230 man-hours. Minimum number of personnel required: Electrical/Electronics Technician VI (3) (Key Category), Electrical/Electronics Technician IV (2), Program Manager III (1), Electrical/Electronics Engineer II (1), Mechanical Technician III (1), Technical Writer/Editor III (1), Drafter IV (3), Word Processor II (1).
