Contractor will assist in the development of an exploration model for reef-front sand deposits around Oahu, HI, to estimate the quantity and quality of sand on Oahu's reef front. Main product will be maps that display probability intervals for estimated variables such as sediment thickness and grain size, indicate the uncertainty of those estimates, and estimate probability that specified economic criteria are met. Anticipated performance period is 14 months ARO. The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to Battelle Memorial Institute, Richland, WA, the only responsible source and no other supplies or services meet agency requirements. This acquisition continues development of maps and datasets produced by the anticipated sole source under a previous purchase order and that are unavailable to other sources.
