The Federal Bureau of Prisons seeks to negotiate a firm, fixed-price contract for Architect-Engineering services to site adapt a new Inmate Housing Unit at the Federal Correctional Institution in El Reno, Oklahoma. Any utility or site work associated with this work will also be under the requirements of this contract. The successful contractor will be required to provide architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, and other related services for site adaptation of existing construction documents. Bidding and construction administration will also be included. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Consideration for selecting the firm will be based on the following criteria: FIRMS CAPACITY AND ORGANIZATION (Size and make-up of the firm and consultants and available personnel by discipline) (20%); PROPOSED PORJECT TEAM AND ORGANIZATION (Key personnel and consultants and professional qualifications and relevant experience -- individually and as a team) (40%);EXPERIENCE AND PERFORMANCE (Experience of the firm's project team and consultants with projects of compariable size and complexity) (40%). Firms are not required to have experience with correctional facilities. Consideration will be limited to firms licensed to practice architecture and engineering in the State of Oklahoma, and whose primary office is located within a 75 mile radius of the Federal Correctional Institution in El Reno, Oklahoma.
