Provide all management, tools, supplies, chemicals, repair parts, equipment, vehicles, and qualified personnel to operate and maintain the Water Treatment Plant at Lajes Field Azores, Portugal and its auxiliary locations. This solicitation will be an unrestricted request for proposal and has a Standard Industry Code (SIC) of 8999, $5 million. The performance period for the acquisition begins on 01 Aug 2000 with 4 one-year option periods. A contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror who conforms to the solicitation requirements and provides the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be released on or about 3 Apr 2000. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for 18 Apr 2000. The anticipated closing date for receipt of proposals is 8 May 00.
