The Recruitment and Retention Committee of the Study of Health Outcomes of Weight-loss (SHOW) is announcing the need for contractor to develop a variety of print and video materials to support recruitment and retention of participants. SHOW will enroll a total of 6,000 overweight participants with Type 2 diabetes at 16 clinical sites geographically dispersed throughout the country. The primary objective will be to compare the health effects of regular medical care versus an intensive dietary, behavioral, and exercise intervention designed to produce long-term weight loss.
