Watershed, Site # 1 Left Blanket Repair, project is located in Vernon
County, Wisconsin near Westby, WI. The project consists of the repair
of the upstream left abutment blanket on the West Fork Kickapoo Site
# 1 earthfill dam. The existing blanket will be placed with lime
treated earthfill for stability. Available borrow is subject to
dispersive characteristics and will be tested prior to utilization on
the left abutment. Estimated quantities of the major items of work are:
Clearing and Grubbing (lump sum); Silt Fence (550 L.F.); Seeding and
Mulching (1 acre); Erosion Control Blanket (1,600 Sq. Yd.);
Mobilization and Demobilization (lump sum); Excavation Common (2,250
C.Y.); Excavation Rock (2,100 C.Y.); Earthfill, Lime Treatment (2,750
C.Y.); Salvaging and Spreading Topsoil (15,250 C.Y.) and Quick Lime (80
Tons). Estimated cost is between $100,000. and $250,000. Bid packages
