Y -- MARTIS PEAK ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, LAKE TAHOE BASIN MANAGEMENT UNIT SOL RFQ-17-00-27 DUE 061500 POC Tahoe National Forest, Fax Machine 530-478-6126 This project is located on the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit and requires road grading and placement of 5500 ton road base. Work also includes the installation of one culvert and a metal gate. Road is 3.8 miles in length. The last 0.5 mile of roads is a steep narrow road to the Martis Peak Lookout. Road can be accessed from Truckee, California, by heading South towards King Beach, on State Route 267. Forest Road 16N92 is located on the left just prior to reaching the summit. From Kings Beach side, 16N92 is the first road on the right after the summit.
